Best Cookgear: Pots, Pans, Plates and More

Cooking while camping and road tripping can not only save a lot of money; it also save a lot of time and you eat healthier. No waiting in lines at slow restaurants.

So, what type of cooking gear do you need besides the camp stove? There are two approaches:

  1. Use regular kitchen pots and pans
  2. Buy specialty-made camp cook gear.

The advantage of using pots and pans from home is you don't have to spend any more money and they're large enough to meet your needs.  If they are also non-stick, it makes clean up easy.

I take:

  1. 16 quart non-stick pot
  2. Medium sized non-stick fry pan (about 10 - 12 inches)
  3. Silicone spatula to flip burgers
  4. Silicone spoon spatula to scrap containers
  5. Dish sponge and small dish soap container.

Optional

  • 2 dishpans if you don't have a sink to use.
